Kishan calls for ending BRS rule in Telangana
Hyderabad: State BJP president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday asked people to bring down the BRS government and usher in the BJP rule for good governance.
After participating in a bike rally organised in support of BJP candidate Mekala Sarangapani, Kishan Reddy said, “There is a need to bring down Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao who encroached thousands of acres and built farmhouses for his family. But he neglected to fulfil the promises made by him. Not a single ration card was given in the last ten years.”
In another press meet, Dr K. Laxman, BJP OBC Morcha president, said, “Despite the best efforts of KCR and his son K.T. Rama Rao, they will surely lose power. The Congress, which cheated the people of Karnataka, is trying to grab power in the state. The unemployed youth are going to be central to the outcome of the Assembly elections. They are waiting to send this government packing.”
He said Rao had failed to keep his promise of filling 1.9 lakh jobs. Many schools had shut for want of teachers and unemployment dole had not been given.
Responding to a query on why they are opposing BC caste enumeration, Laxman said, “We want to do a proper study on the issue.”
