KCR to put an end to ‘group politics’ in TRS
The party has constructed offices in all the district headquarters
Hyderabad: TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will focus on containing 'group politics' within the party during his tour to inaugurate party offices in district headquarters from December 19.
The party has constructed offices in all the district headquarters.
He will begin with the inauguration in Wanaparthy district headquarters on December 19 followed by the Jangaon office, the next day.
Party sources said that the inaugural programmes have been planned in such a manner that Rao can hold meetings with ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs and other leaders soon after the office inauguration and take stock of the party's situation in the district.
He will try to resolve the differences between party leaders in the districts and ask them to shed misunderstandings and work to further strengthen the TRS.
Incidentally, the ruling party is ridden with the problem of group politics in certain districts. This is more so in districts where leaders from other parties defected to TRS. The original TRS leaders are not ready to lose their political hold to those from other parties.
This is leading to open showdowns during official programmes. Such incidents are more frequent in Vikarabad, Khammam, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Yadadri-Bhongir districts.
