AMC demolishes BJP leader's unauthorised structure
Srinivasulu was running a diagnostic centre in the building
ANANTAPUR: Anantapur Municipal Corporation (AMC) authorities demolished a structure constructed on an encroached land by BJP district president Sandireddy Srinivasulu on Friday.
Sources said civic authorities arrived in Sai Nagar area of Anantapur city with a JCB to remove portion of a building constructed on public land by BJP’s Srinivasulu. He was running a diagnostic centre in the building.
There were heated arguments between officials and the BJP leader when the JCB started demolishing the steps of the diagnostic centre, which had encroached on to government land.
The AMC team made it clear to Srinivasulu that the steps were an unauthorised construction and went ahead with the demolition. AMC demolishes BJP leader’s unauthorised structure.
