Dhinakaran to meet Sasikala today?

Chennai: Speculation is rife that AIADMK deputy general secretary T T V Dhinakaran will meet V K Sasikala at the Parapana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru on Monday to discuss the revolt in the party against their leadership. Though there was no official word, sources said Mr Dhinakaran might meet his aunt Sasikala at the prison on Monday.

The meeting, if it happens, assumes significance as it comes just days after majority of leaders of their faction in the party have asked them to quit their posts to pave the way for uniting the party.

12 ministers had met Mr Dhinakaran on Friday asking him and Ms Sasikala to quit the party so that former O Panneerselvam can be brought back and the party’s symbol Two Leaves reclaimed. Mr Dhinakaran will brief Ms Sasikala about the meeting and seek her advice.
