YSRC women's wing working president and MLC Varudu Kalyani challenged Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s statement that he will organise a public court.

“In democracy, public court means elections. Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy is ready with his 175 candidates for the forthcoming assembly elections. Is PK ready,” Kalyani asked at a press conference held at YSRC’s Visakhapatnam office in Maddilapalem on Wednesday.

The YSRC’s women’s wing chief posed Pawan Kalyan many questions. She asked why the JS chief is not giving importance to women in his party. When did he speak on women’s issues in nine years of forming the party? “As it is election time, PK and (Telugu Desam chief Chandra) Babu (Naidu) want to lure women voters. Only now they are talking about women empowerment. Women in the state are observing the duo and laughing,” she remarked.

Kalyani asked if the Jana Sena president will also interrogate Babu, Balakrishna, Lokesh and Narayana in his public court. “It is not a Vakeel Sab film,” she maintained.

She went on to target JS women wing Veera Mahila saying: “It has heroism in the name. In deeds, Jana Sena has done nothing for women.”

The YSRC leader asserted that after becoming CM, Jagan Mohan Reddy has appointed 15,000 women police. Disha is the Chief Minister’s brainchild, she underlined.

Kalyani also commented on Chandrababu’s Vision 2047 document. “He once released Vision 2020 document. By then, TD had lost power. Now, he has released Vision 2047 document. By then Telugu Desam will not be on the political map,” she declared.
