Karimnagar: Even after completing nine years of ruling by the BRS government, there have been no development in Karimnagar city, alleged TPCC official spokesperson Kongala Mahesh on Saturday.

All sections of the people have been facing lot of problems as the city lacks a  government super specialty hospital, engineering and ITI colleges and the youth of Karimnagar have been migrating to cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore to acquire professional skills due to lack of skill development centres here. Moreover, several colonies have been facing flooding even by mild rainfall due to the unscientific Smart City project works, he alleged.

Mahesh submitted a representation to chairman of TPCC manifesto committee and Manthani MLA D. Sridhar Babu in Hyderabad, urging him to include in the Congress manifesto the establishment of an airport in Karimnagar, sanctioning of farm equipment to farmers with subsidy, separate crop loss fund, formation of BC and Munnuru Kapu corporations, hike in the budget of minority finance corporation, job calendar, implementation of old pension scheme and unemployment dole.
