KARIMNAGAR: Teach a fitting lesson to the BJP and the TRS for adopting anti-people policies at the Centre and state by defeating both in Huzurabad by-election, appealed Congress’s Mulugu MLA Seethakka.

She was campaigning in Huzurabad town along with Congress candidate Dr B. Venkat Narsing Rao on Saturday. She said during his seven years of rule Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has not kept any of his poll promises, starting with declaration that he will make a Dalit the first CM of Telangana state.

The MLA appealed to people to bring Congress back to power both in state and centre, as it has the track record of working for weaker sections right from the time of its formation. BJP candidate and former minister Etala Rajendar, despite being a minister for seven years, never bothered about development of Huzurabad constituency, she stated.
