BRS corporators join Congress

Hyderabad: In a major blow to the BRS, the party’s GHMC floor leader and three-time Madhapur corporator V. Jagadeeshwar Goud, his wife Pujitha, twice Hafeezpet corporator, and other leaders have joined the Congress.

Goud was previously in the Congress, having contested as a corporator on the party in 2009 and won. In 2016 and 2021, he contested on a BRS ticket. His wife was also elected in the 2016 and 2021 elections.
