Campaign Songs Draw Crowds, Lift BRS Spirits at Rallies
Adilabad: The peppy election songs of the ruling BRS have been lifting the spirits of the party cadres and drawing huge crowds at its poll rallies in Adilabad. The two songs “Dekhlenge…” and “Raamakka” which underline the government’s achievements during its regime and promise hope, development and ideal governance, have found their way to the supporters and the people making them cheer and shake a leg at at the Thursday public meeting when there was a delay in the KCRs arrival.
These two songs, seeking mobilisation of the voter base, have emerged as popular numbers during the campaign as they attract the people in the colonies and villages. Especially womenfolk liked the Ramakka song and their dances to the tunes of these songs reflected their mood.
The spirit of the party workers was lifted with these songs before KCR arrived at the meeting. It was a surprise to see all the second-rung leaders shaking their legs to the tune of the "Dekhlenge" and "Ramakka" songs by using their Kanduvas on the dais.
There was a good response from the crowd as well when the BRS supremo started speaking in Urdu addressing them and the welfare measures taken for Muslim empowerment, especially in the field of education.
