K Chandrasekhar Rao rejects MLA's plan to ignore Telugu Desam
The TRS MLAs opined that the TD should not be invited to the BAC meeting since they have just three MLAs.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has turndown a suggestion from some TRS MLAs on not inviting Telugu Desam representatives to the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meetings of the Legislative Assembly.
The TRS MLAs opined that the TD should not be invited to the BAC meeting since they have just three MLAs. Mr Rao, however, rejected their contention saying that all parties having representation in the Assembly should be invited to the BAC meeting. He also said that the TD is a recognised regional party and it would not be correct to keep its MLAs away to BAC.
According to Assembly records, the TD has 15 MLAs. Among them, only three members are active in the party and the rest joined the TRS.
