Congress to hold padayatras today, Digvijay Singh to participate in Chevella
After performing puja at Chilkur Balaji temple, they will take up padayatra in protest against the skyrocketing prices of essentials
HYDERABAD: Congress will take up padayatras in Chevella, Khammam and Sangareddy towns on Saturday. Congress working committee member Digvijay Singh, TPCC president A.Revanth Reddy will take part in padayatra at Chevella.
After performing puja at Chilkur Balaji temple, they will take up padayatra in protest against the skyrocketing of essential commodities prices. The padayatra will continue for 10 km from the Ambedkar statue at Mudimyala to the Indira Gandhi statue in Chevella town. Congress leaders will address a public meeting.
However, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will participate in padayatra at Khammam on Saturday. In Sangareddy, TPCC working president, MLA T.Jayaprakash ‘Jagga’ Reddy will participate in padayatra on Saturday. The yatra will start at the old bus stand Ram mandir and conclude at the collectorate.
