Visakhapatnam: TD state president Kinjarapu Atchannaidu on Saturday announced that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will not be attending the public meeting being organised on December 20 at Polipalli village in Bhogapuram mandal of Vizianagaram district, marking conclusion of the Yuvagalam Yatra of TD national general secretary N. Lokesh.

Addressing media at the party office in Tadepalli, Atchannaidu said the closing Yuvagalam meeting will be addressed by TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and national general secretary Nara Lokesh.

However, Pawan Kalyan will be attending a future public meeting after TDP finalises its manifesto, whose drafting could not be completed due to imprisonment of Chandrababu Naidu.

The TD state president said around six lakh people, including one lakh party workers from different parts of Andhra Pradesh, will be attending the meeting.

The party has formed 16 committees to make the meeting a success. A large number of YSRC leaders and workers are expected to join the TD in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu during the public meeting, Atchannaidu added.
