YSR Congress attacks TD for venomous campaign'

Vijayawada: The YSR Congress has lashed out at the TD for its “venomous campaign” against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy meeting TRS leaders.

“Our president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has time and again firmly said they would not have any electoral tie-up but will support any federation that serves the state’s interests,” senior party leader Mr Botsa Satyanarayana told reporters on Thursday. “The meeting of our party chief with TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao was blown out of proportion. Mr Chandrababu Naidu and his friendly media and Cabinet colleagues have been spreading canards about the meeting, which was a preliminary round for cobbling up a front of regional parties and have better bargaining power.”

He said Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy had made it very clear from the beginning that the party will go it alone in the elections and not have any tie-up.
