Arvind Kejriwal's attempt to 'politicise' CBI condemnable: Vijender Gupta
He said Kejriwal came to power in Delhi on the plank of zero tolerance for corruption but now he is taking it 'lightly'.
New Delhi: BJP MLA Vijender Gupta on Sunday attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for "policticising CBI" by claiming during his Talk to AK programme that the central agency was "run by the national president of BJP".
The attempt of the Chief Minister to politicise CBI by alleging that BJP president Amit Shah is running it is condemnable, the Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly said in a statement.
"The non-serious attitude of CM is highly objectionable," Gupta said.
He said Kejriwal came to power in Delhi on the plank of zero tolerance for corruption but now he is taking it "lightly".
"He shamelessly and blindly supported Rajendra Kumar and charged that Prime Minister Modi is behind raids. Now when his PS's (Rajendra Kumar) guilt is being proved, he is calling CBI itself a BJP agent," Gupta said.
