YSRCP to raise five demands in Parliament sessions
Kakinada: Rajamahendravaram MP and YSRC Parliamentary Floor Leader Margani Bharat Ram said that the party would raise five important issues—the Women Reservation Bill, BC Bill, Special Category Status to AP, Polavaram Project, and implementation of the AP Reorganisation Act—in Parliament sessions to be held from September 18 to 23 for five days.
The Union government convened a meeting with floor leaders of all political leaders to discuss issues in the Parliament sessions on Sunday evening in New Delhi. Later, Bharat told the media that although the central government says that the agenda is a special discussion on the journey of the Indian Parliament for 75 years, the YSRC would raise many issues that have made it an agenda to bring many aspects of the AP state to the attention of the centre. He said that they were going to put pressure on the Centre to implement the issues.
