No development in Badvel under YSRC government: Somu Veerraju
Veerraju lashed out saying no canals are being constructed adjacent to Brahmam Sagar Reservoir
KADAPA: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Somu Veerraju on Sunday dared YSR Congress leaders to say what state government has done for development of Badvel town.
Campaigning in the Badvel by-election in support of BJP candidate Panatala Suresh, Veerraju lashed out saying no canals are being constructed adjacent to Brahmam Sagar Reservoir. He questioned why there is a difference between developing Pulivendula and Badvel towns.
The BJP state president maintained that whatever development carried out in Badvel is with funds given by central government. He asked the minister leading the election campaign to say what the state government has done for the town, other than imposing cuts in various welfare schemes similar to power cuts. He wondered why the Amma Vodi scheme is being linked to attendance.
Veerraju said the central government is funding everything from constructing national highways to giving ration rice. He urged people to vote for BJP candidate Suresh and ensure that he wins.
