BRS Madhapur corporator, wife join Congress

 Hyderabad: In a major blow to the BRS in the city, the party’s GHMC floor leader and three-time Madhapur corporator V. Jagadeeshwar Goud and his wife Pujitha, twice Hafeezpet corporator, joined  the Congress on Tuesday in the presence of TPCC president Revanth Reddy.

Goud had won on a Congress ticket in 2009 and on a BRS ticket in 2016 and 2021. His wife successfully contested the 2016 and 2021 elections.
