TRS looting in name of contracts: TPCC
Mr Shravan also brou-ght up another corruption incident, in MGM Hospital in Warangal.
Hyderabad: The Congress on Sunday came down heavily on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government, calling it a “government of percentages and commissions”.
TPCC spokesperson Dasoju Shravan questioned the CM on why Mr Rajaiah was sacked without even conducting an inquiry or telling the public what wrong he did. “Why this double-standard? The rule should be equal for all. There cannot be different rules for others and for the CM's son. The CM should prove that all are equ-al for him on the issue of corruption,” he said.
“It is clear that the TRS government is looting people in the name of contracts and committing heinous crime by taking commissions that too at the behest of KTR,” he alleged.
“If the CM is sincere about curbing corruption, he should sack KTR from his cabinet and order an inquiry by a sitting judge, he demanded.
Mr Shravan also brou-ght up another corruption incident, in MGM Hospital in Warangal, when a TRS MLC was forced to pay a bribe of Rs 3,000 to get the post-mortem of a relative, which was disclosed by none other than the same TRS MLC in the Legislative Council recently. “Why did the CM fail to take action against corrupt officials and staff in this incident?" he questioned.
