Kasaragod: The visuals of CPM workers manhandling two BJP booth agents at the Trikkarippur constituency on the counting day triggered a protest from the BJP.

The BJP workers apologised to CPM workers in public for their presence as BJP polling agents as the mob did not allow them to move out after the polling.

BJP Kasargod district president advocate K. Sreekanth sought action against Trikkarippur legislator Kunhiraman for allegedly heading the mob.
