Ramesh as UDF chair fine, but were not told: K M Mani

Thiruvananthapuram: KC (M) chairman K. M. Mani has expressed his displeasure over the appointment of Mr Ramesh Chennithala as the UDF chairman without taking the allies into confidence. He came to know about Mr Chennithala’s  selection  from the media, said  Mr Mani who was keen to see Mr Oommen Chandy continue as UDF chairman.

“The allies should have been shown the basic courtesy of  consultation on the appointment,” he said and  added that different stands taken by the Congress and the allies had created confusion among the people leading to the poll debacle.
