Konda Murali objects to KTR calling him gunda

 WARANGAL: Former MLC and Congress leader Konda Muralidhar Rao objected to IT minister K.T. Rama Rao indirectly referring to him as gunda.

“Why didn’t you remember that Konda Murali is a gunda when Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao called and gave me the post of MLC,” the Congress leader asked.

He was referring to KTR’s comments at a public meeting in Warangal on Saturday that people should not fall into the trap of some gundas.

Speaking to media, Murali objected to IT minister saying that Konda couple has run away from Warangal. “Konda couple will always strive hard and fight for poor people. Konda Sureka is going to register a massive victory from the Warangal East assembly segment,” the Congress leader declared. He maintained that sensing this, BRS leaders are losing their temper and making foolish comments.

Murali asserted that people are not going to believe KCR. He expressed confidence that Congress will come to power in Telangana like it did in Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.

Warangal DCC president Errabelli Swarna said without knowing the history of Congress, KTR is making baseless allegations against the party. It is Sonia Gandhi who has given separate statehood for Telangana, she pointed out.

Swarna said people are watching every move of BRS and its leaders. They are ready to teach BRS a befitting lesson in the coming up assembly elections, she stated.
