Naidu, Pawan against Vizag as capital: Sajjala
Crime rate decreased in Visakhapatnam, says YSRC
VIJAYAWADA: Adviser to government (public affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has said the crime rate has decreased in Visakhapatnam under the Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s leadership.
“There was anarchy there during Chandrababu Naidu's term. Now, Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are terrorising the people of Visakhapatnam. Both do not like Visakhapatnam being the capital and are hence spewing poison against Vizag that has all the essentials for a modern capital,” he said at a media meet here on Friday.
Ramakrishna Reddy recalled that Visakha was calm during the late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy's rule. “Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan have been going there one after the other and terrorising the people with horror stories since they know that Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will move the state administration there.”
“Naidu and Pawan are trying to spread the word that something terrible is going to happen there. Jagan is working to correct the atrocities that happened during Chandrababu's term. The wish of Chandrababu and PK is that the capital should not come to Visakhapatnam. Pawan is going to the hills every day and saying that something has happened there.”
“They are going near the sand dunes and making announcements that they are doing environmental protection.”
Regarding Chandrababu's Vision 2047, Ramakrishna Reddy asked why Naidu did not do all that he is promising to do now. He showed two videos in which the TD chief was speaking in a confused state and said that these videos showed his present mental state.
In one video, Chandrababu is seen announcing at a public meeting that he brought mobile phone technology to India and then asking the public to turn on their lights on their mobiles. In another video, he was heard saying he will stand by if people worship the rakhi given to them by him.
Ramakrishna Reddy said the party leader Yarlagadda Venkata Rao in Gannavaram has already taken a decision and is speaking accordingly. “If Venkata Rao has problems in the party, he should talk about it on internal platforms and should not speak in public.”
