Bandi calls on BJP leaders to counter TRS narratives
He said it was only the BJP which had held 13 public meetings in a short period, a feat no other party in the state could attempt
HYDERABAD: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar told party leaders to effectively counter the TRS’ “lies and propaganda”, even as the ruling party in Telangana “tries to come up with new tricks to fool people with fake promises.”
Chairing a preparatory meeting of party leaders for the September 22 public meeting to mark the completion of the fourth phase of his Praja Sangrama Yatra, Sanjay also called on people to join the meeting in large numbers.
He said the Union minister of state for rural development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti would be the chief guest at the public meeting to be held at Pedda Amberpet village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of Ranga Reddy district. He said it was only the BJP which had held 13 public meetings in a short period, a feat no other party in the state could attempt.
“There is tremendous response to the padayatra, and our padayatra has become an example for the party to do the same in other states,” he said. “If we all work hard, the BJP will come to power, and every hard working karyakarta and leader will be rewarded. Uttar Pradesh has demonstrated this,” Sanjay told the meeting at Dammaiguda.
The meeting was attended among others by BJP leaders D. Pradeep Kumar, G. Premender Reddy, G. Manohar Reddy, N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, N.V. Subhash, G. Vijayarama Rao, Dr Chandrashekar and K. Venkateswarulu. Sanjay said every party worker should display the BJP symbol on his or her house in Munugode constituency, even as booth level committees should be set up fully before September 25.
