12 YSR Congress MLA's get Andhra Pradesh notices

YSR Congress MLAs had stalled the House proceedings demanding a resolution seeking SCS to Andhra Pradesh instead of the Special package.

Hyderabad: AP Assembly Secretary on Tuesday served notices on 12 YSR Congress MLAs, seeking their personal appearance before the Assembly Privilege Committee on October 25 and 26 to offer explanation for their behaviour in the House during the last Assembly session.

YSR Congress MLAs — Kodali Nani, Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, Dadisetty Raja, Korumutla Srinivasulu, Ch Jaggireddy, Rachamallu Siva Prasada Reddy, Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, B. Mutyala Naidu,  P. Sunil Kumar, K. Sanjeevaiah and Kambala Jogulu — are among those who have been issued summons.

During the last Assembly session, YSR Congress MLAs had stalled the House proceedings demanding a resolution seeking Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh instead of the Special package. While protesting, a few YSRC MLAs went to podium and raised slogans against the Speaker.

Following this, the House requested the Speaker to initiate action against MLAs and Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao directed the Privileges Committee to take up the issue and recommend action.
