Bank staff deny Asaduddin Owaisi charge: Ashwani Rana

Hyderabad: The National Organisation of Bank Workers on Sunday condemned the statement of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi against banks and its employees. Organisation president Ashwani Rana said in a press release that bankers were working without taking leave or holidays after demonetisation.

“Mr Owaisi’s statement on staff not filling currency in ATMs in Muslim-dominated areas was false. Bank employees don’t differentiate customers on religion basis. We treat all customers at par. The MP’s statement is just misleading public and he is playing cheap politics on religious sentiments,” he said.
