KT Rama Rao pats BJP, Congress for good show

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao congratulated the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on retaining Gujarat and for its victory in Himachal Pradesh in the state elections.

He also congratulated the Congress on putting up a spirited fight. In a message on Twitter, he said democracy needed a stable government and a vibrant Opposition. He hoped good governance would take centrestage and politics the back seat in both states.

Mr Rama Rao keenly followed the trends that were aired on TV channels and tweeted that they were reporting different numbers.

“I can understand entitlement to opinions and views but fact and figures cannot change?” he said on Twitter.
