Naidu, Lokesh, Pawan are 'outsiders', says YSRC leader
Vijayawada: YSR Congress state joint secretary Karumuri Venkata Reddy has termed Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, son Nara Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as “outsiders trying to damage the reputation of AP and causing hurdles in the state’s development and welfare programmes.”
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he said Lokesh conducted his Padyatra in bits and pieces and ended it without achieving anything.
“The walkathon did not have a purpose. Lokesh did the Yuvagalam Yatra by eating delicious dishes here and there with a display of comic scenes, shouting and giving out loose threats,” he said.
Venkata Reddy said Naidu, Pawan and Lokesh were “non-locals.” They live elsewhere and come to AP for political meddling, gains and yatras. The people would teach them a befitting lesson in the coming elections.”
He said, “The TD and Jana Sena joined hands to stage a misleading show during the closing event of Lokesh's Padayatra, but the people remember the TD-JS alliance government had made 650 promises in Chandrababu's manifesto in 2014. Having failed to fulfill any of these promises, the TD removed the manifesto from the party's website for fear that the people would question them.”
“The downfall of the TD and Jana Sena started in 2019. The politics has completely changed as people cannot be lured and fooled anymore. In the 2024 elections, TD and Jana Sena candidates will not win and would even lose their deposits.”
