Harish Rao denies rumours of dissent over Cabinet berth
He hoped that the ministers will implement the Chief Minister's vision in development and welfare schemes.
Hyderabad: TRS senior MLA and former minister T. Harish Rao on Tuesday denied reports that he was unhappy at not getting a Cabinet berth.
Stating that he will not tolerate the misleading campaign in his name, Mr Rao urged party workers not to believe in the false posts doing the rounds on social media platforms.
Speaking to media persons after the swearing-in ceremony of ministers at Raj Bhavan he reiterated that he was a disciplined activist of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and will discharge any responsibility entrusted to him by Chief Minister and TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
“I have repeatedly said that I will follow the orders of the Chief Minister and TRS president without asking any questions. The Chief Minister prepared the list of ministers after taking into consideration various factors including regions/locations, social equations and also performance within the party as well as the government,” Mr Harish Rao said.
He congratulated all the newly inducted ministers in the State Cabinet and urged all party workers to strive hard to strengthen K Chandrasekhar Rao's government.
He said the Chief Minister was working for development of the state and to realise the aspirations of the people of the state during his second term.
He hoped that the ministers will implement the Chief Minister's vision in development and welfare schemes. He made it clear that he had not approved any groups or senas named after him and persons running such organisations should not be taken seriously.
