Malappuram by-election will assess Pinarayi govt: Kummanam Rajasekharan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Malappuram by-election will be a verdict on Mr Pinarayi Vijayan's governance, according  to BJP state president  Kummanam Rajasekharan.   Commenting on  CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s statement that the  police  had failed to contain the spurt in the violence against children and women, Mr Kummanam said  Mr  Kodiyeri was beating  around the bush. 

Mr Kodiyeri actually wanted to say  that  Mr Pinarayi's governance was a failure,  Mr Kummanam said. Saying that  Mr  Kodiyeri had  expressed his displeasure against the LDF government's rule,  he  alleged that the CPM had  joined hands with the UDF for the victory  of  Mr P. K. Kunhalikutty in Malappuram.
