Bring down feudal govt of KCR: Mallu Bhatti
HYDERABAD: Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday gave a call to bring down the “feudal government of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao” and elect the Congress, after crossing the 1,100-kilometre mark on Day 96 of his padayatra in Nakrekal constituency.
Addressing a corner meeting, Bhatti said, “The BRS rulers are looting public wealth like bandicoots. KCR mortgaged four-crore people and borrowed ₹5 lakh crore, pushing Telangana state into a debt trap. The hopes of the youth and the unemployed have been dashed, leaving them on the roads. Their parents had to pay through their nose to educate them as fee reimbursement (promise) has not been implemented.”
“The KCR government has betrayed every section of society. They failed to buy crops from farmers, who had to forego 12 kgs of paddy under the guise of wastage to mill owners. The state government ignored this. It failed to provide the promised ‘one job per family’. While the Congress government gave pension to two persons of the family, the BRS restricted it to one person,” Bhatti said.
He said that the objectives of establishing the Telangana state remain unfulfilled as Chandrashekar Rao used looted money to win elections.
“Once elected to power, we will give ₹5 lakhs to the poor for construction of houses, give gas cylinders for ₹500 each to all ration cardholders and implement loan waiver up to ₹2 lakhs at one go. Free and compulsory English-medium education would be implemented from KG to PG and Rajiv Arogyasri's health insurance will be increased from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh. The poor will be identified and plots distributed to them,” he said.
