More BRS, BJP leaders join Congress

HYDERABAD: More leaders belonging to the BRS and BJP from Quthbullapur and Rajendranagar constituencies were admitted to the Congress by TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy on Monday.

Among those who joined the party was the former sarpanch of Golconda village Lakshmaiah, ward members, SFI Ranga Reddy district president Anand and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said, “There is a coalescing of anti-BRS political forces in the state. For the poor to live with dignity, the  Congress needs to come to power. KCR has not kept any of its promises. The party workers should go to the people and work among them. People are ready to give power to the Congress party. Tickets will be given only based on surveys.”
