BJP leaders under house arrest ahead of Kishan visit to inspect 2 BHK homes
HYDERABAD: Several BJP leaders were placed under house arrest on Thursday morning to prevent them from visiting Batasingaram village to inspect the state of 2 BHK houses built by the government. The BJP state president and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy condemned the arrests declaring that the BRS government.
“Telangana is witnessing tyrannical rule. Muzzling of opposition voice has become the hallmark of the KCR government,” Kishan Reddy said.

Kishan Reddy said “the house arrest of BJP leaders ahead of the visit to the housing construction site at Batasingaram village in Ranga Reddy district is highly condemnable. This again exposes tyrannical rule in Telangana under the BRS government.”
Many BJP leaders were taken into preventive custody with police landing at residences of various BJP leaders and placing them under house arrest, or taken into preventive custody by taking them to the police station. Among those placed under house arrest were the Huzurabad MLA and party national executive member Etala Rajendar who was restricted to his residence at Shamirpet, former MLC N Ramachandra Rao, state general secretaries Bangaru Sruthi, Dugyala Pradeep Kumar.

Party general secretary Gujjala Premender Reddy condemning the arrests said some among those the cops have prevented from joining Kishan Reddy were BC Morcha state chief Koppu Basha, Kisan Morcha general secretary Jaganmohan Reddy, as well as party leaders from districts such as Yadadri Bhongir.
