PK Says Amit Shah Assured Him of Good Days' for AP
Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has said he discussed ways to develop AP with the top brass of BJP during his two-day visit to New Delhi.
Pawan Kalyan said here on Thursday that he met Union home minister Amit Shah and discussed several issues of AP and got an assurance from him that a policy decision would be announced for the benefit of AP soon.
Referring to the criticism that whenever he visited Delhi, he waited there for appointments with the BJP leaders and often failed to meet them, Pawan Kalyan said he did insist on meeting Prime Minister Modi this time, as he (PM) was busy taking care of the 140 crore people.
He said that when he was asked to meet the PM during his recent visit to Visakhapatnam, he only discussed the AP issues with Modi.
Pawan Kalyan said he met BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday morning and discussed for more than an hour the issues related to development of AP and welfare of its people apart from the political developments in the state.
The JS leader said he was not longing to become the CM as a decision on this would be taken in consultation with the political allies after the elections. This would be based on which party got the larger share of seats. “I am interested in the creation of jobs for the youth by helping set up more industries in AP, maintenance of law and order and growth in state GDP.”
He called upon the party leaders and activists from both AP and TS to support the JS in the fight against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government, which ordered his prosecution over his recent comments against the Volunteers. JS would lay its stress on dethroning Jagan Mohan Reddy and sending him to Jail,” he said.
