YSRC rebel Yarlagadda to join TD tomorrow
Yarlagadda Venkata Rao made it clear that if TD leadership desires, he is ready to contest from Gannavaram, Gudivada or Vijayawada
Vijayawada: YSR Congress rebel leader and Krishna District Cooperative Central Bank former chairman Yarlagadda Venkata Rao met Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad on Sunday. They both discussed many issues, including the rebel leader joining Telugu Desam.
Chandrababu has given his consent for the rebel leader to join Telugu Desam in the presence of Nara Lokesh at a public meeting in Gannavaram on August 22. Lokesh will reach Gannavaram as part of his Yuvagalam padayatra on the day.
Speaking to media after meeting Naidu, Yarlagadda Venkata Rao made it clear that if TD leadership desires, he is ready to contest from Gannavaram, Gudivada or Vijayawada. He offered to discharge any responsibilities that may be assigned to him by the TD leadership.
The rebel leader made it clear that he had left all his businesses in the USA and joined YSRC to serve the society and people of AP. However, for the past six years, he has seen many changes in YSRC, where no importance is being given to opinions of leaders and cadres.
