BJP committed to welfare of women: Bhoga Shravani

Karimnagar: On behalf of Telangana women, former municipal chairperson and BJP state executive member Bhoga Shravani thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making the historic decision to introduce the eagerly awaited women's reservation bill "Naari Shakti Vandan Vidheyak" in the Parliament.

In a statement issued on Tuesday in Jagtial, Bhoga Shravani stated that the BJP government is dedicated to the welfare of women throughout the country and recalled that in the past as well, the NDA government was responsible for introducing the women's reservation bill four times in a row in the Parliament, and that the BJP government was ultimately responsible for putting the bill into effect.

The BJP government demonstrated its dedication by giving women leaders in the financial, external affairs, and defence departments prominent positions. Remember that the BJP government granted reservations for women in paramilitary forces for the first time in India's history.

When the women's reservation bill is brought in both houses of Parliament very soon, she claimed, the true nature of the BRS, which is working hand in hand with the groups that tore the bill in the parliament, would be revealed. She asked that if the I.N.D.I.A. coalition, which is led by the Congress party, is serious about treating women fairly in the nation, it must support the bill wholeheartedly in both houses.
