Naval Airfield Integrated Security System inaugurated

Visakhapatnam: Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command, inaugurated the indigenously designed and developed state-of-the-art Naval Airfield Integrated Security System project at INS Rajali, Arakkonam, on Tuesday.

A demonstration of Intrusion detection and neutralization actions by the Quick Reaction Team (QRT) was conducted. NAISS developed by BEL is an AI-enabled multi-layered area security system.

The indigenously developed NAISS highlights the Indian Navy's focus on innovative solutions and manufacturing that are aligned with the Make-in-India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
