THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday said after coming to power Prime Minister Narendra Modi had relegated India’s role to that of a junior war partner of the US. At a time when the US was altering its arms policy to help the arms dealers, Modi was playing along with the Americans, Pinarayi said while inaugurating the national conference of All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO).

He said Modi skipping the NAM was a pointer to the fact that India had abandoned the non-alignment policy.
