Telugu Desam plans Mini Mahanadu on a low key
Meanwhile, TD district chief T. Brahmaiah said that the cadre was not demoralised and its base is as strong as ever.
Khammam: The TS TD’s Mini Mahanadu is expected to be a low-key affair when it is organised in the TNGO Bhavan on May 22. The local party cadre want the event to be kept low profile and have invited only about 2,000 delegates.
According to sources, the TS TD is expected to discuss the recent Palair bypoll and defections of its senior leaders to the TRS and adopt some resolutions.
Politburo members Nama Nageswara Rao and Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah will attend the district Mahanadu, apart from party observers Seethakka, V. Narender Reddy, Botla Srinivas, Gattu Prasad and D. Srisaialam.
Meanwhile, TD district chief T. Brahmaiah said that the cadre was not demoralised and its base is as strong as ever. “Some leaders may have left, but their desertion is not a loss since they never had a mass base,” he said.
