Aam Aadmi Party's 10 Guarantees for Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday pledged ten poll guarantees for people of Madhya Pradesh, if his party was voted to power in the state in the year-end assembly polls.
The ten guarantees included free electricity up to 300 units, free medical treatment and surgeries up to Rs 20 lakh, free quality education and allowance of Rs 3,000 each to unemployed youths in the state.
Addressing the party convention at Satna in Madhya Pradesh, Mr Kejriwal called upon the people not to trust ‘Mama ji’, as Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is known among the people, and alleged that the latter deceived his nephews and nieces.
“Now your chacha (uncle) (identifying himself) has come. You should trust AAP to deliver”, he said.
He said that AAP, if voted to power in the year-end Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, would provide jobs to the unemployed youths.
He said that the Delhi government has provided jobs to two lakh youths and generated jobs for 12 lakh others in private sectors.
He assured that AAP if given a chance to rule the state would provide a corruption free government which would reach the doors of the people and not vice-versa.
Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann who was also present on the occasion said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always used to say that a double engine would deliver.
But, if a single engine is strong, then there is no necessity of a double engine, he said.
