‘United AP divided due to Gulam Nabi Azad’
Dr Chinta Mohan said Gulam Nabi Azad gave wrong advice to the Congress leadership at that time
VIJAYAWADA: Former Union Minister and special invitee to Congress Working Committee (CWC) Dr. Chinta Mohan has said United Andhra Pradesh was divided into two because of then Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he said Gulam Nabi Azad gave wrong advice to the Congress leadership at that time. He alleged that Azad earned thousands of crores from the Congress by enjoying high political positions.
Dr Chinta Mohan said that since 2014, Azad has been closely associated with the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was now levelling false accusations and criticisms against the Congress and Rahul Gandhi.
He alleged that BJP has not done anything for the country and it made the poor poorer. He predicted that the BJP will be limited to 100 seats in the 2024 elections.
Mohan said when Congress returns to power, gas will be given to people at Rs 500. He alleged that chief minister Jagan destroyed the education system and the medical sector in the state.
