TD chief suffering from memory loss: Kakani
NELLORE: Agriculture minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy said that TD chief N. Chandrababu was suffering from memory loss.
“He is forgetting what he said in the morning by night and vice versa,” the minister observed while taking a dig at the TD supremo for his dual stand on Kurnool becoming the judicial capital of AP.
At a press conference on Sunday, the minister challenged the TD chief to ensure the dismissal of the cases filed against him and to face an investigation.
The minister said the history of Naidu was closed with his debacle in 2019, and he was stooping down to blackmail because of doubts over winning in 2024.
He said people are flabbergasted by the speeches of Chandrababu Naidu, who worked as a Chief Minister in the past.
He also found fault with the TD for branding those who are questioning Naidu as YSRC workers.
Govardhan Reddy claimed that TD leaders were participating in Amaravati yatra to trigger differences between people worried over loss of crores worth of property.
He took potshots at Naidu for releasing a GO to stop the CBI from entering the state in the past and demanding a CBI probe now.
The minister demanded Naidu to declare his stand on decentralisation of capital. “Chandrababu is never in people's hearts; he is only appearing in newspapers supporting him,” he added. Govardhan Reddy said that a recent survey by TD indicated that the YSR Congress was very strong in AP.
