YSRC Incharges Making Bids for Tickets to Contest Polls
Kakinada: Rajamahendravaram City and Rajamahendravaram Rural incharges are making serious efforts to get the tickets for candidature in the coming elections.
Though the YSRC has given green signal to BC welfare minister Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna for Rajamahendravaram Rural constituency, the present incharge Chandana Nageswar is also seeking the ticket.
Telugu Desam MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary is representing the constituency while Chandan Nageswar is the incharge for the YSRC there. He is visiting the constituency every day and participating in some service programmes.
The YSRC high command has changed as many as seven MLAs in erstwhile East Godavari district including Konaseema like Amalapuram, Mandapeta, P Gannavaram, Pithapuram, Prathipadu, Jaggampet and Rajamahendravaram Rural.
They did not participate actively in the party programmes. But Chandan Nageswar, a textiles tycoon who also runs jewelry stores, is keen on getting a ticket from Rajamahendravaram Rural constituency. He distributed 1,000 saris in the constituency on the eve of Jagan’s birthday on Thursday.
