JS to contest all seats if no alliance, says Nagababu
Nagababu is on a two-day visit of Kurnool and Anantapur areas to strengthen the party at all levels
ANANTAPUR: Jana Sena political affairs committee member Nagababu on Saturday made it clear that their party is ready to contest the forthcoming assembly general elections from all seats if there is no alliance.
“If there is any alliance, Pawan Kalyan will decide on sharing of seats and we will follow his directions,” he stated.
Nagababu is on a two-day visit of Kurnool and Anantapur areas to strengthen the party at all levels. On Saturday, he met Jana Sena Veera Mahilalu in Hotel Mourya.
Speaking to media later, he refused to comment on actor Ali’s announcement during Sankranthi celebrations that if Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy so desires, he (Ali) is ready to contest against Pawan Kalyan. Nagababu just said “no comment”.
Jana Sena cadres have been creating a high profile for their party in Anantapur Urban constituency, with the possibility of the seat being offered to JS in case there is an alliance with Telugu Desam. JS cadres led by Bhavani Ravi Kumar are inviting either Pawan Kalyan or Nagababu to contest from the seat.
Nagababu is scheduled to hold a meeting with party cadres in Anantapur on Sunday.
