VM Sudheeran blasts CPM for fixing' VS Achuthanandan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM has fixed V.S. Achuthanandan first as stated in its campaign slogan, ‘LDF will come, everything will be all right.”  This is how KPCC president V. M. Sudheeran reacted to the selection of Mr Pinarayi Vijayan as the chief minister after dumping Mr Achuthanandan.  

Mr  Sudheeran had earlier said that if the LDF comes to power, they would first pack off Mr Achuthanandan. In a Facebook post, he took a dig at the CPM and said when Achutanandan was taken to election campaigns across the state, his age was not a problem.

“Achuthanandan went for campaigning all over the state despite his age. Now he has been booted out citing old age and health issues by comrade Yechury. Who doesn’t know that Yechury is trying to avoid Achutanandan.  Awarding the title of Fidel Castro to Achutanandan implies that he deserves rest.  “Everything is all right now,’’ said Mr Sudheeran.
