Karne Prabhakar shoots down Komatireddy allegations on KCR
Mr Venkata Reddy said though he was trying to get the CM's appointment, it was not materialising.
Hyderabad: Pointing out that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has stopped coming to his office in the state Secretariat, senior Congress legislator Komatireddy Venkata Reddy on Wednesday said if the trend continues, one day the Secretariat might also be grabbed just like Miyapur lands.
He was speaking at the Secretariat where he said that it was not proper for the CM to avoiding coming to his office in the Secretariat for months together and confine his activities to the camp office.
Mr Venkata Reddy said though he was trying to get the CM’s appointment, it was not materialising.
He also said that IT minister K.T. Rama Rao, saying that he has not visited Nalgonda once but visited the US five times.
He said several of his representations seeking funds from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund were not addressed. He also criticised the sheep distribution scheme, saying that there was huge scam involved in purchase of sheep and said that he would expose it.
Soon after, TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar refuted Mr Venkata Reddy’s allegations, saying that it was not true the Congress MLAs were not getting the CM’s appointment.
He cited several meetings of Congress MLAs with the CM and said that significantly, Mr Venkata Reddy met Mr Rao more than any other MLA. Mr Prabhakar said of the 391 representations under CMRF, 56 from Mr Venkata Reddy were cleared by the CM.
He said Mr Rama Rao visited the US to get more investments to the state.
“Without the sheep scheme even being launched, Venkata Reddy is levelling allegations about a scam and corruption. It’s known fact that Congress leaders do not know anything about schemes, they only know about scams,” Mr Prabhakar said.
