Kishan Reddy criticises TS government for selling govt lands to industrialists
ADILABAD: BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy on Monday demanded that the TS government clarify whether it sold 220 acres of government land to the family of minister Allola Indrakaran in the Nirmal.
He alleged that BRS made the Telangana state a ‘real-estate company’ and the pink land mafia was grabbing government lands everywhere. Some 73 per cent of the people are against KCRs ‘corrupt’ family rule and they would vote the family out in the next assembly elections, he said.
Kishan Reddy appreciated Maheshwar Reddy’s relentless fight against the ‘corruption’ of Indrakaran Reddy and for the cancellation of GO 220 pertaining to the master plan for Nirmal, as it was ‘against the interest’ of the farmers.
Kishan Reddy offered juice to Maheshwar Reddy to end his hunger strike that entered the 6th day on Monday.
Police lifted Maheshwar from the hunger strike camp citing his ‘deteriorating’ health and shifted him to a government area hospital. Mahehsar continued his strike in the hospital and later went home and ended his protest.
The BJP chief said the state government has no respect for the tribals and it has allocated a small piece of land for the construction of a tribal museum for the Ramji Gond whereas other states are allocating 15- 20 acres of land for tribal museums.
Kishan Reddy alleged that the state government has failed to implement crop loan waivers effectively as farmers have already “incurred huge interest on their crop loans and the interest amounts are more than the crop loan waiver in many cases.”
