K Chandrasekhar Rao tells candidates their strengths, flaws
He said the TRS did not recognise the Prajakutami or alliance of Opposition parties as a serious challenge.
HYDERABAD: TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday held lengthy discussions with all 105 contestants. The party will hold similar meetings in Warangal, Khammam and Karimnagar on dates that will be finalised shortly, he said.
He told the candidates that there was no dissidence in the party and if there was, the district in-charge ministers would take care of it. He said the TRS did not recognise the Prajakutami or alliance of Opposition parties as a serious challenge.
With just 45 days of campaigning left before the Assembly elections in the state, Mr Rao issued a ‘fiat’ to candidates not to be seen in Hyderabad and told them to reach out to the maximum number of voters, and highlight the development activities of the TRS administration.
Mr Rao called each contestant and disclosed his/her strengths and weaknesses and urged them to improve their performance.
Mr Rao exhorted the candidates to meet every voter and tell them about the schemes the government had implemented for the greater good of society. It is estimated that every constituency has about 60,000 beneficiaries apart from Rythu Bandhu beneficiaries, he said.
