All Major TS Parties Intensify Their Election Campaign
Adilabad: Congress leaders have intensified their campaign to popularise the six guarantee schemes of their party. Their canvassing has received a boost following Rahul Gandhi’s Vijayabheri bus yatra in the state.
Leaders and cadres of Congress are going from house to house popularising their six guarantees and distributing the guarantee cards.
Congress party ticket aspirant Kandi Srinivas Reddy has already started canvassing in his Prachara Ratham in Adilabad town.
Other aspirants Sanjeev Reddy and Gandrath Sujatha are campaigning in Adilabad town as well as the surrounding villages.
Congress leaders are targeting BRS MLA Jogu Ramanna, pointing out how he has failed in fulfilling his promises on development and welfare of people in the Adilabad assembly constituency.
As part of his campaigning, Ramanna has started participating in Bathukamma celebrations in villages falling within his constituency. He took out a massive bike rally in the Bela mandal headquarters.
Political leaders are attending all religious events being organised locally. Some of them joined the pada yatra of devotees from Adilabad to Khelapur.
BJP leaders have also intensified their election campaign, with news that their party's high command will announce its first list of candidates tomorrow.
BJP district president Payal Shankar and state executive committee member Suhasini Reddy are aspiring for the ticket from Adilabad.
