BJP declares names of its nine candidates from Warangal region
Yet to announce the candidate names from Narsampet, Parkal, and Mulugu assembly segments
Warangal: Bharatiya Janata Party has announced its candidates for nine out of a total of 12 assembly constituencies in erstwhile Warangal district for contesting the forthcoming general elections in Telangana.
Errabelli Pradeep Rao has been nominated from the Warangal East constituency, where he will face ruling BRS sitting MLA Nannapuneni Narendar. Rao Padma will be BJP’s nominee from Warangal West (Hanamkonda) assembly segment, which is currently held by government chief whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, a four-time MLA.
Chandupatla Keerthi Reddy from the Bhupalpally assembly segment is going to face sitting BRS MLA Gandra Venkataramana Rao. The Congress candidate from this constituency is Gandra Satyanarayana Rao.
Former minister Gunde Vijaya Rama Rao will be the BJP’s candidate from Station Ghanpur. He is being fielded against former deputy chief minister and BRS MLC Kadiyam Srihari and Congress candidate Singarapu Indira.
Arutla Dashamanth Reddy from the Jangaon assembly segment will face the BRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Congress candidate and former MLA Kommuri Prathap Reddy.
Lega Ram Mohan Rao will take on panchayat raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao in the Palakurthy assembly segment.
The other candidates that the BJP has announced are Bhukya Sangeetha from Dornakal, Jatoth Hussain Naik from Mahabubabad, and former MLA Kondeti Sridhar from Wardhannapet.
BJP is yet to announce the names of its candidates from three assembly segments – Narsampet, Parkal, and Mulugu.
