#CongressInFighting: Sidda, DK involved in conspiracy against each other, alleges BJP
The BJP contended that Siddaramaiah\'s faction has sought to confront Shivakumar since the inception of the government
Mangaluru: The BJP has intensified its critique of the Congress, alleging that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is maneuvering to seize power by courting the support of the MLAs aligned with Siddaramaiah.
Employing hashtags #CongressInFighting and #EightyPercentSarkara, the BJP contends that the Congress-led government has neglected Karnataka's development.
The BJP has asserted that Shivakumar is engaged in an 'Andar ki operation' (operation within the party) to entice MLAs from the Siddaramaiah camp.
"Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has pledged to unseat Chief Minister Siddaramaiah following the Lok Sabha elections. Shivakumar is discreetly courting MLAs from the Siddaramaiah faction under the guise of a departmental tour. Recognizing this, CM Siddaramaiah advised MLAs of his faction against visiting Shivakumar during Shivakumar's visit to Belagavi," BJP posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The BJP further pointed out that Hungund MLA Vijayanand Kashappanavar, who initially backed Siddaramaiah for the CM post, now leans towards endorsing Shivakumar for the role.
"This is merely a glimpse of the 'andar ki operation' Shivakumar is conducting within the party. Karnataka's already beleaguered administration will further falter. Factional clashes will escalate, and the suffering of voters will amplify," BJP cautioned.
The BJP contended that Siddaramaiah's faction has sought to confront Shivakumar since the inception of the government.
"With the court lifting the stay order against the probe into Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah and his team are rejoicing," BJP alleged.
The BJP likened the situation of Congress government in Karnataka to Siddaramaiah steering the cart while DCM D K Shivakumar wields the stick.
"Karnataka's citizens bear the brunt of personal egos, factional rivalries, and Congress leaders' haughtiness. From the inception of this government, leaders have been at odds, and administration has been impacted severely. Corruption, drought, unemployment, and disorder plague the state. Congress leaders have squabbled over issues and have failed to safeguard the state's interests on various issues including the Cauvery issue. The CM and DCM factions of the Congress seem united solely in looting the state," the BJP alleged.
